Electrical connection
The electrical connection may only be carried out by
a suitably qualified technician in accordance with lo-
cal and national safety regulations
Please observe the wiring diagram supplied.
Please ensure that the voltage and frequency of the
dryer as quoted on the data plate comply with the
on-site supply.
The machine can be converted to 2AC 208-240 60Hz
(Single Phase) with reduced heating power. Please
do not load more than 22 lbs (10 kg) into the dryer.
However a conversion to Single Phase will lengthen
the program.
Connection should be made via a suitable isolator
which complies with local and national safety regula-
tions and which is easily accesible for disconnecting
the dryer from the electrical supply. Provision must be
made on site to switch off all poles. Switches with a
minimum all-pole contact gap greater than 3 mm are
suitable for isolating the appliance. These include
circuit breakers, fuses and relays.
If the appliance is disconnected from the electricity
supply ensure adequate measures are taken to ensu-
re that the appliance cannot be reconnected to the
electricity supply until all work has been carried out.
After the dryer has been connected to the electrical
supply check the phase rotation on the incoming po-
wer supply to the appliance.
Installation and connection
