The dryer does not start.

In the event of any faults please contact the Miele Service Department.
When contacting the Service Department, please quote the Model, Serial number (SN:) and Material number
(M.Nr) of your dryer.
See data plate for details:
The data plate is located at the top of the door opening (with the door open) or at the top of the rear of the machi-
ne.
Possible cause
Over-pressure in vent ducting.
Leaks in the airways.
Lint filter blocked
The lint filter compartment flap is not
closed properly.
Peak load cut-out
The dryer will continue to run without
heating (cold) for the remainder of the
program.

Problem solving guide

Remedy
Check the vent ducting.
Call the Miele Service Department.
Clean the lint filter.
Twist the lock for the lint filter compartment
flap in a clockwise direction as far as it will
go.
If the peak load cut-out is overridden, the
program will continue as normal.
