Cleaning ventilation pipes
The ventilation pipes should be cleaned once a year. This can be carried out easily using an ordinary
toilet brush. Brush as far into the pipe as you can reach.
Cleaning the smoke pipe (ASH3)
The smoke pipe should be cleaned after 200 uses. The message (ASH1), (ASH2) and (ASH3) will
appear on the display when it is time. This means that the ashes need to be emptied, the ash pan
cleaned and the smoke pipe brushed. Acknowledge the message by pressing and holding the start
button for ten seconds or press the arrow down button. It is easy to clean the smoke pipe using
the steel brush that was supplied with the toilet. Make sure to brush far enough into the pipe. The
handle of the brush should almost be level with the opening of the pipe. Use a vacuum cleaner to
remove the soot following brushing.
Cleaning the seat
Do not use abrasive cleaning products or products containing chlorine or acids, as they may cause
yellowing or peeling of the material. Natural soap or mild, natural household cleaning products are the
best for effective problem-free cleaning. We recommend using Separett Cleaning Kit (Art. No 1199-01)
