Maintenance
Regular maintenance is important to ensure the toilet's
functionality. Lack of maintenance can lead to impaired
functionality, which may lead to a damaged toilet. When
performing maintenance, check the following:
• Check the smoke pipe for ash and clean when needed to
guarantee a good airflow.
• Ensure that the plates in the hatch are kept clean to ensure that
the bag can slide smoothly, thus preventing the bag from falling
incorrectly. If the bag does not fall correctly and gets stuck in the
hatch, there is a risk of ignition outside the incineration chamber.
• Always disconnect the product from the electrical outlet before
performing any maintenance.
• Be careful when flushing while a programme is running. Hot air
can escape from the incineration chamber.
Avoiding electric shock
• The exterior of the toilet (with the exception of the front cover and the service hatch) must under
no circumstances be removed by anyone, except technicians authorized by Separett AB. Avoid
putting any objects in or poke through the air vents on the front or back, the service door or any
other openings on the toilet when it is connected to the mains.
• If the toilet is exposed to excessive amounts of moisture or in any other way risk becoming live,
unplug the toilet.
• Never use a damaged cable or plug and never let the cable run
over hot or sharp surfaces.
Installation
The toilet shall not be used without being installed in accordance with the instruction manual. The
installation manual must be followed to safely transport hot air and smoke from the toilet and the
bathroom. The installation must ensure that smoke is transported out of the building in which the
toilet is located. The smoke must not be transported to other spaces in the same or other buil-
dings. An incorrect installation can cause the toilet to overheat and its internal system and control
functions to take damage.
• This product is intended for use only in households with a limited number of people who are
all familiar with the proper use of the toilet. We do not recommend Cindi Basic for use in public
facilities.
• Do not make any modifications to the product that may change
the products specifications.
• Ensure that the ventilation openings on the toilet's front and back
are never obstructed.
