Emptying the ash pan

After every 50 uses, the toilet will display the message ASH1 to remind the user to empty the ash
pan. Confirm the message by holding down the start button until it lights up or press the "down
arrow" button.
IMPORTANT! If the ash pan is not emptied when required, the toilet may become less efficient
and several of its parts risk malfunctioning.
Empty the ash pan in accordance with the instructions below.
IMPORTANT! Always make sure that the toilet is cold before opening it!
1. Open and remove the front plate using the screwdriver that was supplied with the product.
2. Turn the handle to the middle position.
3. Pull out the ash pan.
4. Empty it into a dust bin or flower bed. The ashes are germ-free.
5. Push the ash pan back in and turn the handle to the right until it stops.
6. Replace the front plate.

Long-term storage
If you are away for a long period of time or shut-up your holiday home for the winter, you should
consider the following:
1. Unplug the toilet.
2. Detach the toilet from the exhaust air pipe.
3. Block the exhaust air vent. This protects the toilet from moisture and cold air is kept out.
