1.
Remove the cover of the air filter by unscrewing the wing nut [(a) Fig. 22] or by unclipping it
[Fig. 23];
2.
Remove the holding wing nut [(b) Fig. 22] of the elements of the air filter;
3.
Wash and clean the urethane foam [(c) Fig. 22] or [(c) Fig. 23] using a special detergent for air filter.
Immerse it into engine oil until it is saturated with oil, then gently squeeze it. Clean the urethane foam
every 50 h operating hours and change it every 200 h or every year;
4.
To clean the paper element, gently tap it [(d) Fig. 22] or [(d) Fig. 23] to remove dust. Never use
detergent, oil or gasoil to clean the paper element. Clean the paper element every 50 operating
hours and change it every 200 h or every year.
NOTE
Use only genuine parts.
8.3. SERVICING THE FUEL (GASOLINE) FILTER
DRAINING WATER FROM THE FUEL (GASOLINE) FILTER
Every 100 operating hours, drain the water from the fuel filter.
1.
Unscrew the screw of the float chamber [Fig. 24];
2.
Let the water flow;
3.
Tighten the screw of the float chamber.
REPLACING THE FUEL FILTER (GASOLINE)
Replace the fuel filter every 1000 operating hours.
NOTE
This operation should be performed by the dealer of by the nearest After Sales Service.
8.4. REPLACING THE FUEL (GASOLINE) PIPE
Replace the fuel pipes every 2 years or every 1000 operating hours.
In case a leak is detected on fuel pipes, replace them at once.
NOTE
This operation should be performed by the dealer of by the nearest After Sales Service.
8.5. INSPECTION OF BOLTS, SCREWS AND NUTS
Tighten bolts and nuts when they are loose.
Make sure there is no oil leak.
Make sure there is no water leak on hydraulic fittings.
