1.
Let the engine run, idle, for 3 minutes;
2.
Put the CHOKE LEVER to RUN (OPEN) position [Fig. 15].
NOTE
To save fuel and prolonge the lifespan of the high pressure washer, use the CHOKE LEVER only
when it is required.
□ A too high or too low running speed of the engine increases the risk of injuries or of damaging
the washer. DO NOT change the rated speed of the engine.
5.3. USING THE HIGH PRESSURE WASHER
■ Never put your hand in front of the nozzle to adjust it.
■ Be very careful when using a high pressure washer on a ladder, a scaffolding or on any other
unstable place.
□ Do not let the device run during more than 5 minutes without pressing the gun handle. Over this
period of time, stop the device to prevent any overheating of the high pressure washer.
□ Do not pull the hose of the high pressure washer as this could damage it.
To wash as correctly as possible, keep the nozzle 20 to 60 cm away from the surface to clean. If the
nozzle is too close to the surface, particularly in high pressure mode, you may damage the surface.
NOTE
When a high pressure washer is running, the pressure, at the output of the spray lance, decreases
as the altitude increase, i.e. 1 bar every 10 meters.
ADJUSTING THE PRESSURE
•
HIGH PRESSURE: Rotate the handle clockwise [Fig. 16];
•
LOW PRESSURE: Rotate the handle counterclockwise [Fig. 16].
5.4. USING THE DETERGENT SYSTEM
The high pressure washer can suck up and mix detergents through an automatic remote-control
device, by acting on the lance. In order to do so, the packing includes a PVC pipe strainer device.
