□ Always connect the water pipes and open the water supply prior to starting the high pressure
washer.
□ Never change the setting of the throttle lever which is factory set.
□ Never change the setting of the « bypass », as it is used to set the pressure.
□ Make sure the feeding pipe shows no tight bends or constrictions.
□ Make sure the HP pipe shows no pinching, cut or any other defect.
The following instructions apply to each starting:
1.
Make sure the water feeding pipe is connected to the water input of the high pressure washer
[(b) Fig. B];
2.
Open the water supply valve or start the additional pump;
3.
Open the fuel valve [Fig. 10];
4.
Put ON/OFF switch to ON (START) [Fig. 11] and [Fig. 12];
5.
If the engine is cold, put the CHOKE LEVER to CHOKE (CLOSED) position [Fig. 13];
6.
Action the tigger of the Gun and spray lance to release and residual pressure before trying to start;
7.
Slightly pull the starter rope until it becomes a bit difficult. This is the «compression» point. Let
the rope coil back to its initial position, then rapidly pull it [Fig. 14].
□ Do not fully pull the rope out and do not suddenly release it. Handle it gently until it is reeled in.
If the engine does not start, although you have tried several times, start above operations but first
put the CHOKE LEVER to CHOKE (CLOSED) position. [Fig. 13]
NOTE
In case you find difficult to operate the starter rope, press the trigger of the gun to release the
internal pressure of the HP pump.
NOTE
If the engine does not start, although you have tried several times, contact your IMER dealer or
