8.1. CHANGING ENGINE OIL

The oil of the engine must be changed for the first time following the first twenty (20) operating hours.
Then change engine oil every 100 hours. Before replacing the oil, find out the best way to discard
used oil. Never discard this oil in sewers, in a garden or in waterways. Please refer to local discard
and environment regulations as they provide detailed instructions.
1.
Unscrew the filling plug distick [(b) (Fig. 01];
2.
Fit a container under the drain hole [Fig. 21];
3.
Unscrew the drain plug [(e) Fig. 02];
4.
Let the oil flow when the engine is hot [Fig. 21];
5.
Fit the drain plug and tighten it [Fig. 02];
6.
Fill the engine in with oil [Fig. 03] so that the top level, on the filling plug, is reached [(c) Fig. 02];
7.
Fit the oil distick and tighten it [5(b) Fig. 01].
□ Discard used engine oil in accordance with environment regulations. We recommend pouring
used oil in a closed container and taking it to the nearest recycling centre or to a service station
so that it can be recycled. Never discard in a dustbin, in the ground or in sewers.
NOTE
Use high quality new oil. If you use dirty of poor quality oil, or is there is not enough oil, the lifespan
of oil will be reduced and the engine will be damaged.
8.2. SERVICING THE AIR FILTER
NOTE
The air filter MUST remain perfectly clean. A dirty filter, caused by a poor fitting or a poor
maintenance, shall damage the high pressure washer and cause engine wear. The air filter must
be perfectly clean, at any time.
□ Do not clean the filtering elements with kerosène, gasoline or petrol oil.
