• Do not use the product in any operations that beyond the intended purpose.
• When installing, keep proper footing and balance at all times.
• Make sure the pump is on horizontal and stable surface before starting the pump.
• Use a strainer connected to the suction (inlet) hose and to prevent stones and other debris
from being sucked up, which may result in severe damage to the pump.
• Do not move the pump while it is working.
• The temperature of the fluid to be pumped may not exceed 40 °C.
• ALWAYS watch out for children, pets, wildlife and always check the working area is safe
before proceeding work.
Carbon monoxide hazards
• WARNING! Exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide gas that can build up to
dangerous levels in closed areas. Breathing carbon monoxide can cause unconsciousness or
death.
• To avoid carbon monoxide poisoning, do not operate indoors or in a confined space, such as
home, garage, tent, camper van, mobile home, caravan, boat... etc.
Fire and burn hazards
• WARNING! The engine exhaust can get hot enough to ignite materials. Always ensure the
surrounding area is free from any material that could burn or be damaged by heat.
• WARNING! The muffler becomes very hot during operation and remains hot for a while
after stopping the engine. Be careful to touch the muffler while it is hot. Let the engine cool
before storing the generator indoors.
• Maintain at least 1 metre (or 3 feets) of clearance from any building structures or other
equipment during operation. Do not enclose the product in any structure.
• Gasoline is extremely flammable, and gasoline vapour can explode. Do not smoke near fuel
or the product.
• Always store gasoline in an approved and labelled container.
• Refuel only outdoors in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped and cooled.
• Fuel vapours are extremely flammable and may ignite after the engine has started. Never
start the engine if there is spilled fuel. Any spillage must be wiped clean and allowed to dry
before attempting to start the engine.
