Mounting supporting legs (6)
• Mount the supporting legs to the base of cradle frame with supplied long screws (o) and nuts
(p). See Fig. 3.
• Securely fasten the screws with suitable wrench.

Mounting handles (3)
• Position the handles in the bracket (q), then attach on the front side the cradle frame and
secure them with supplied long screws (r) and nuts (s). See Fig. 4.
• Securely fasten the screws with suitable wrench.
Selecting pump location
• Shelter is required for outdoor installation; it should be capable to protect the pump from
direct sun light, rain and frost.
• The pump should be installed in a clean, dry and ventilated location which provides
adequate room for servicing and protection from freezing temperatures.
• It should be positioned to a good foundation, preferably concrete and provided with
adequate drainage.
• Locating the pump as close as possible to the water source reduces the friction in the suction
pipe and will give maximum capacities.
Suction hose (t) installation
• The suction hose (not supplied) diameter should be referred to Table 1. Pipe with larger
diameter may be used to minimize flow resistance in some circumstances, such as pumping
long distance.
• Horizontal lengths of pipe must gradually slope upward from the source of water to the
pump to avoid air pockets in the line. Ensure that the suction line is not laid above the pump
height.
• Fig. 5 illustrates the order to place the parts to sucessfully attach the suction hose to the inlet
suction inlet (9) of water pump.
• Teflon tape (not supplied) is recommended on threads to ensure a water tight seal and
prevent any leakage.
• Fig. 6 illustrates the order to place the parts to sucessfully attach the suction hose to strainer.
