Adding engine oil
• Remove the engine oil plug (11), clean the dipstick
and re-insert without screwing down.
• Remove the dipstick and ensure the oil lays between
the MIN and MAX marks.
• If oil needs to be added, transfer oil in until the level
reaches the MAX lavel of the oil gauge.
• Refer to Table 1 for more information.
5.3- Operation
Starting the engine
• Prime the pump (see Section 5.2 for details).
• Turn the fuel valve (u) to the ON position.
• Set the choke lever (v) to the CLOSE position.
• Adjust the throttle lever (w) to approximately one-
third of the way towards the FAST
• Turn the engine switch (10) to the ON position.
• To start the engine, pull the recoil starter (4) grip
lightly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly.
• NOTE: Do not allow the starter to snap back against
the engine. Return it gently to prevent damage to the
starter.
• Turn the choke lever to the OPEN position as the
engine warms up.
Stopping the engine
• Adjust the throttle lever (w) to the SLOW
• Turn the engine switch (10) to the OFF position to stop the engine.
• Turn the fuel valve (u) to the OFF position.
• NOTE: In case of an emergency, you can stop the pump by turning the engine switch to the

Adjusting engine speed
• The throttle lever (w) is used to regulate the rotational speed of the engine, which also
controls the water flow out of the discharge outlet.
• To increase the speed of the engine and water flow, move the throttle lever to the FAST
position.
• To decrease the speed of the engine and water flow, move the throttle lever to the SLOW
position.
