Caution! Never leave the scooter unattended in freewheel mode, as it may roll down a slope. Freewheel
mode should only be used in an emergency to move the scooter due to a breakdown. NEVER move the
scooter in this mode when it is occupied. NEVER tow the scooter.
In freewheel mode, the scooter can be pushed on level ground at walking speed. The scooter will brake
automatically if this speed is exceeded.
NEVER sit on the scooter and coast on a slope as this can cause permanent damage to the motor, brake and
controller due to excessive regenerative braking.
Getting started
Starting to drive :
Note: You must fully charge the batteries before first use.
Choose an area with plenty of space.
Mount the scooter by lifting the armrest and sliding onto the seat.
Make sure the seat is securely locked in the forward-facing
position before driving. Adjust the handlebars and seat if
necessary (see 'Adjustments'). DO NOT use the handlebar to
provide full support during transfers.
The speed and direction of the scooter are controlled by the accelerator lever. The arrows in the image above
indicate the direction in which the scooter will move when the lever is operated as shown.
At the start
Insert the key, switch on the power and first set the cruise control to a low level. The further you pull the lever,
the faster the scooter will travel, but only up to the maximum speed that has been selected. Release the lever
and the scooter will stop smoothly.
Warning! DO NOT turn off the power to stop the scooter, as this will cause the transmission to lock and the
scooter to stop abruptly, which could result in serious injury. This procedure should only be used in an
emergency.
Steering
The scooter's steering is light and easy. When starting off, make sure there are no obstacles in the way of the
rear wheels. When driving in tight spaces, turn the handlebars in the direction you want to go and apply power
gently. The scooter can turn a very tight corner with complete stability at low speeds.
