As far as possible, do not interrupt the charging cycle until the batteries are fully charged. Continued
interruption could permanently damage the batteries. If the charging cable is damaged, stop using the device
immediately and ask your retailer to replace it.
ONLY USE THE CHARGER SUPPLIED WITH YOUR SCOOTER. Do not leave the charger connected to the charger
port once charging is complete. ALWAYS remove the keys from the scooter when charging.
Battery life is affected by the frequency of incomplete recharges. Whenever possible, recharge batteries to
their maximum capacity.
Sunshine
On sunny days, it is possible for the surfaces of your scooter to reach high temperatures (like those of motor
vehicles). Please take precautions if you leave the scooter in direct sunlight for any length of time. Shade or
cover the seat and hand controls to minimize any increase in temperature.
Health considerations
The suitability of this product has been assessed on the basis of the user's current state of health. It is essential
that the user regularly monitors their ability to use the scooter safely.
Product stability
Scooters are designed to allow the user a certain degree of flexibility of movement in restricted areas. Driving
at top speed and attempting tight turns can create a situation where the product becomes unstable. It is
therefore essential that the user pays attention to the advice given in this manual.
For maximum stability, the speed setting should be adjusted up to 50% of the maximum speed available (halfway
between the tortoise and the hare or by simply entering the red sector of the speed indicator, depending on
the model).
The main factors affecting stability are:
- Maximum speed setting
- Seat height
- User movement
- User manoeuvres
- Slopes or uneven terrain
Please keep your speed at a level where you can stop safely without having to make erratic turns.
Do not load bags, etc. on the back of the seat, as this will affect the centre of gravity and could cause instability.
Do not lean out of the seat, especially when moving it. Avoid turning on slopes.
