Safety information on electromagnetic interference (EMI)
Scooters and electric wheelchairs are designed to operate under certain conditions. However, radio waves or
electromagnetic fields can affect the operation of the scooter.
Radio or television transmitters or portable devices such as mobile phones, portable CB radios, etc. can be a
source of electromagnetic interference.
Emergency procedures
If your scooter behaves erratically or becomes unresponsive while driving, release the handlebar lever so that
it returns to the neutral position and turn off the power using the key or switch. This will stop the scooter and
activate the braking system, preventing any further uncontrolled manoeuvres.
NOTE: Turning off the power using the key or switch may cause the scooter to stop abruptly and should only be
used to stop the scooter in an emergency, as this could damage the engine.
