4. Install the gasket and tighten the clamp to 3 Nm. Make sure the cable glands on the
refractometer are in a downward position.
If your system must comply with the EHEDG sanitary standard, use a gasket
that complies with the current version of the EHEDG Position Paper.
If you have the wash nozzle version of the refractometer, be careful not to
damage the wash nozzle when inserting it into the pipe.
5. If your refractometer has a wash nozzle, weld the wash connection to the supply.
6. Make sure the refractometer is firmly in place and that there is no excessive vibration.
Support the piping if needed.
