3. Weld the ferrule into to the process pipeline.
For optimal self-cleaning properties, install the refractometer in a 10 °
downward angle.
Tank installations are specified to be sloped for proper drainability and for
the surfaces of the sensor and mounting to be accessible for direct impact
from the cleaning flow.
