Mounting the Downdraft
1. Place the downdraft into the cabinet opening
making sure the mounting ears protruding
from the left and right side of the downdraft
body are resting on the countertop.
2. Make sure the downdraft body and blower
housing is level prior to securing the leveling
brackets (FIG. G).
3. Secure the downdraft to the cabinet using the
(6) included leveling brackets. Refer to FIG.
H for leveling bracket placement. Secure (4)
short leveling brackets to the downdraft body
(A) and (2) long leveling brackets to the blower
housing (B).
4. Mount the leveling brackets onto the
downdraft body by using (2) M4 x 8 screws
per short leveling bracket bracket and using
(2) 3/16 x 1/4" screws per long leveling bracket.
5. Secure the leveling brackets to the cabinet
with (1) #6 x 1" screws per bracket.
NOTE: The leveling brackets can be repositioned,
so the bracket flange faces inwards or
outwards.
