Cutting the Countertop Opening
Below are the different cooking appliances when cutting the countertop opening that can be used for
the downdraft.
NOTE: For range installation, the downdraft is only compatible with ranges used in island installations
where a 12" minimum of cabinet space is available behind the downdraft to accommodate the
blower housing. A range trim kit (DDT-0130 or DDT-0136, sold separately) may be needed to
cover the gap between the back of the range and front of the downdraft.
