Preparing the Downdraft
Reversing the Blower Housing
1. Place the downdraft on its back on a table or a flat
work surface.
2. Disconnect the blower plug.
3. Remove (8) screws securing the blower housing and
remove the blower housing.
4. Remove (8) screws securing the square metal plate
on the back of the downdraft (FIG. D1) and relocate
the plate to the front where the blower housing was
previously installed (FIG. D2).
5. Secure the blower housing to the back of the
downdraft with the previously removed screws.
6. If are changing the position of the electronics box, refer
to FIG. E for possible locations for reinstallation.
7. Remove (4) screws and relocate the electronics box to
the left side, right side, upper side, or back side.
8. Reinstall the electronics box by the (4) previously
removed screws.
