Preparing the Downdraft
Electronics Box Repositioning (FIG. B)
The electronics box on the downdraft can be relocated
from its default position. It can be mounted on the left or
right side of the blower housing, and the wiring from the
electronics box is long enough to be repositioned to the
backside of the downdraft.
Blower Housing Repositioning
The downdraft is shipped with the blower collar
pointing towards the left side. If you wish to change this
orientation to face the right side or bottom side, please
follow the steps below:
1. Place the downdraft on its back on a table or a flat
work surface.
2. Disconnect the blower plug from the electronics box
(white molex connector).
3. Remove (8) screws surrounding the blower housing
(FIG. C1).
4. Orient the blower housing with the ducting pointing
towards the right or the bottom (FIG. C2).
5. Reinstall the blower housing with the (8) previously
removed screws and reconnect the blower plug.
6. If you wish to install the blower housing to the back,
please refer to page 16.
