6.2.3 The warranty certificate is considered void for hot water cylinders whose
serial number has been altered, removed or scrambled, or if it cannot be
expressly attested.
6.2.4 Alterations to the appearance of the products are not considered defects,
with the exception of those which lead to losses during operation or which modify
the technical characteristics of the products indicated in the brochures.
6.2.5. The manufacturer reserves the right, in the event of replacement, to supply
another model of hot water cylinder to satisfy approved warranty claims where
the original model is not manufactured.
6.3. Warranty request
Any customer who has purchased a hot water cylinder from the
manufacturer and has good reason to make a warranty claim should
proceed as follows:
6.3.1 Immediately inform in writing:
- The installer or the company who sold him the hot water cylinder,
- The distribution company,
- the manufacturer's local sales representative.
To this end, the claimant must fill in a claim form, which must be accompanied by
the document proving the purchase of the water heater (invoice) with the date of
purchase, as well as photos of the installation.
6.3.2 After receiving the claim form, the manufacturer will examine it and decide
whether the claim is well-founded and whether the defect falls within the scope of
the warranty provided for in this limited warranty certificate; he will then inform the
customer of his decision and the steps he must take.
6.3.3 No product may be returned without the written authorization of the Quality
Department.
6.3.4 If, at the customer's request, and where there is an emergency reason, the
customer requires immediate replacement of the product for which he has
claimed warranty, before a decision is made on the claim, this request must be
accompanied by a purchase requisition from the sales department. Once a
decision has been made to satisfy the claim, the aforementioned purchase
requisition will be cancelled by issuing a receipt for the returned goods. With this
receipt, the customer may purchase another product at the same price in the
event that the claim proves to be well-founded.
