2. DESCRIPTION OF WATER TANKS
Water tanks are used to produce domestic hot water (DHW). They feature an
integrated heat exchanger (coil type), designed for connection to a solar system
or boiler.
2.1 High-efficiency insulation and outer casing
The quality of a water tank's insulation is a key factor in its heat retention capacity
and energy efficiency.
All water tanks in this series feature high-efficiency insulation (DIN 4753, Part 8)
and a PVC outer casing in RAL 9006.
2.2 Water tank
The water tank is made from S235JR low-carbon steel, coated with titanium
enamel on the inside. It is then fired to produce a smooth, uniform enamel with no
deposits. As a result, domestic hot water remains clean and the water tank is
protected against corrosion.
All threads are external (see techniques).
