1.1 Water tank installation room requirements
When choosing a location for a tank, the following requirements must be met:
-
Have a drain. Some maintenance procedures require draining all water
from the tank.
-
Thermal insulation of the room. This improves the efficiency of
the unit and prevents the water from freezing.
1.2 Installation requirements :
•
The length of the connecting pipes between the storage tank and
the consumer should be kept as short as possible.
•
Before connecting the unit to the installation, check all screw
connections (bolt, inspection flange, plug and anode). In very
rare cases - during transport, loading and unloading operations -
screw connections may become loose.
•
The tightening torque of the flanges is approx. 35 Nm.
•
Before commissioning, check the system for leaks.
•
Do not exceed 8 bar operating pressure.
•
Above 4 bar, a safety group must be installed.
•
If there is a risk of water freezing in the tank - drain the tank
completely or let the hot water cylinder run continuously.
1.3 Periodic maintenance requirements
Over time, high temperatures cause limescale to build up during operation. We
therefore recommend that the product be serviced by an authorized service
center every two years. Maintenance should include inspection and cleaning of
the anode protector, which should be replaced by a new one if necessary. The
service performed is indicated on the product warranty card.
