5. TRANSPORT AND PACKAGING
We recommend transporting the water tank to the installation site in its
packaging, placed on the pallet, and wrapped in stretch film. During transport and
installation, depending on weight, appropriate safety equipment must be used in
accordance with Directive 2006/42/EC. When transporting items weighing over
30 kg, the use of a pallet truck, forklift or other lifting device is essential.
6. WARRANTY
6.1 Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials
The manufacturer expressly warrants that the products it manufactures are free
from defects in materials and workmanship that may prevent their normal
operation under proper and normal use, installation and maintenance for
the intended functions of the products, for the period indicated in the
warranty certificate for the hot water tank model you purchased. The
warranty period begins on the date indicated on the purchase invoice. If a
product or one of its components is defective in workmanship or materials, the
manufacturer will repair or replace the defective component or product.
6.2 Exclusions and limitations of warranty coverage
6.2.1 The customer may make a warranty claim during the warranty period of the
product concerned immediately after any defect or fault visible at the time of
purchase, in which case the customer must make the claim to the store
immediately after discovering the defect, as provided for in the general terms and
conditions of sale :
- Accidents, installation on mobile structures, negligence, poor maintenance or
non-compliance.

Non-compliance with the installation, use and maintenance instructions
contained in the installation manual for the product concerned.

Incorrect installation and use, as well as modifications, especially if not
carried out by the manufacturer's authorized service personnel.

Test and operating pressures higher than the values set by the manufacturer
and indicated in the product manuals, or use of water with characteristic
values higher than those indicated in the product manuals: dissolvable salts -
500 mg/l; calcium carbonate - 200 mg/l; free carbon dioxide - 50 mg/l; ph
content - minimum 5 and maximum 12.
6.2.2 Freezing, flooding, natural disasters or actions by third parties as well as
any intervention under normal operating conditions of the water heaters and the
manufacturer's control.
The customer must also monitor the anti-corrosion system (magnesium anode).
He must periodically check the magnesium anode and replace it, depending on
the geographical location, at intervals that depend on the type of water (soft or
aggressive) in the region where the hot water cylinder is used.
