2.3 Inspection opening
A large, convenient inspection opening at the top of the hot water cylinder provides
easy access to the interior for maintenance and cleaning.
The inspection opening is hermetically sealed by an enameled cover on which the
anode protector is mounted.

Important: Do not reuse the flange gasket. Replace the gasket after each
inspection (opening).
2.4 Cathodic corrosion protection for enameled steel hot water
tanks (DIN 4753, Part 6)
Note: The anode protector should be checked every 2 years. Replace if
necessary.
