8.2 Support arm assembly
8.2.1 Mounting and greasing the support
arms
The procedure for mounting the support arms is as fol-
lows:

Grease the support
arm support with an
acid-free multi-pur-
pose grease.
Position support arm
Grease upper aper-
ture
Grease the lower
aperture
Pin with upper
circlip
8.2.2 Checking the safety function
After mounting the support arms, check the engagement
function.
The locking mechanism should engage smoothly so that
the teeth of the lock ring and toothed segment mesh with
each other (see picture).

The support arm bolts must be
secured on both sides, otherwise
there is no reliable connection
between the lift carriage and the
support arm.
CAUTION! DO NOT grease the
teeth of the locking ring and
toothed segment!
Dirt could get stuck in the grease
and affect the function of the lock-
ing mechanism.
