• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the device and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating instructions before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Replace-
ment parts can be obtained from your dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for your equip-
ment.

The device and the packaging material are not
children's toys! Do not let children play with plas-
tic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of
choking or suffocating!
8. Assembly
• Slide the socket pipe (Fig. 1, Pos. 1) onto the discon-
nect lever (Fig. 1, Pos. 2).
• Insert the locking pin (Fig. 1, Pos. 3) through the
holes in the socket pipe and disconnect lever (Fig. 1,
Pos. 1 and Pos. 2) and secure it with the spring split
pin (Fig. , Pos. 4).

Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before commissioning!
• Set up the stone cutter on level, firm ground.
• Mark the breakage point on the stoneware (Fig. 3,
Pos. 1) with a pencil.
• Place the stoneware (Fig. 3, Pos. 1) centrally on the
support (Fig. 3, Pos. 2) of the stone cutter.
• Adjust the height of the upper blade (Fig. 3, Pos. 4)
with the adjusting spindle (Fig. 3, Pos. 5) so that the
disconnect lever with socket pipe (Fig. 3, Pos. 3) is
approx. 15° above the horizontal when the upper
blade (Fig. 3, Pos. 5) rests on the stoneware.
• Check that the position of the upper blade (Fig. 3,
Pos. 4) corresponds to the position of the marked
break line.

• Press the disconnect lever with socket pipe (Fig. 3,
Pos. 3) down onto the stoneware with light to medium
force. The stone piece breaks along the breaking point.
• Remove all breakage remnants from the compo-
nents of the stone cutter.
10. Cleaning
Danger!
Remove the battery before carrying out any cleaning work.
• Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub
the device clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with
compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the device directly
after every use.
• Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the device. Make sure that no water can
penetrate the device interior. Water entering a power
tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
11. Transportation / Storage
Transportation:
• Insert the retaining bolt (Fig. 2, Pos. 1) through the hole
in the disconnect lever (Fig. 2, Pos. 2) and through the
base frame (Fig. 2, Pos. 3) of the stone cutter.
• Lift the stone cutter by the socket pipe (Fig. 2, Pos.
4) and transport it over the transport wheels (Fig.
2, Pos. 5).
Storage:
• Clean the stone cutter thoroughly before storing it.
• Make sure that the stone cutter is stored in a dry
place.
12. Maintenance
• Check the device regularly for proper functioning.
• In the case of problems, place the device out of ser-
vice immediately and, if necessary, have it repaired
by an authorised specialist.
• Perform a visual check of the stone cutter before
every use.
• After every use of the stone cutter, remove trash and
stone remnants.
• Lubricate or oil all moving parts regularly with
grease or motor oil.
