Putting into operation

Starting
Move at least 3 m away from the place of refuelling. Place the brush cutter or grass trimmer on a clear piece of ground taking ca

Cold start
For machine with U Handle or J Handle
• Push the stop switch (1) in the direction shown by the arrow.
• Grasp the handle (hand pressure activates the safety lock-off lev
(5)).
• Press the throttle lever (6) and hold it down.
• Press the lock button (4) and release the throttle lever, and the
release the lock button (the lock button holds the throttle lever
the start-up poition).
For machine with loop handle
• Push the stop switch (9) in the direction shown by the arrow.
• Squeeze the throttle lever (7) fully.
•Hook the lock fin (14) to the notch (13) in the throttle lever cai
while releasing the throttle lever.
