5. HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION
The H90 and H110 thermo fireplaces of the H range are devices designed
to provide heating and comfort through radiators, not exclusively by nat-
ural convection of the air in the room. This means that the device must be
connected to a hydraulic circuit.
It is the responsibility of the installer to design and dimension the instal-
lation and hydraulic circuit, with all its components, such as safety valves,
thermal discharge, expansion vessel or circulation pump, and to check the
suitability of the device and the adequate running condition of the installation.
The maximum working pressure is 2.5 bars, therefore the necessary ele-
ments should be installed to ensure this value is not exceeded, such as a 2.5
bar safety valve. It is compulsory to install a thermal discharge valve at
93°C (not included).
Nevertheless, take into account that the circuit connected to the device must
be closed without renewing the water to prevent any rust or corrosion of same.
Moreover, the H90 y H110 thermo fireplaces are not designed to provide ACS directly. That is why and a suitable inter accumu-
lator must be used.
Before lighting, it is important to ensure there is water in the circuit and in the tank. Check the equipment with the fireplace on
and simulating normal running conditions with respect to the use of the equipment within the insulation for a few hours before covering
the device. Therefore, the finishing of the chimney installation, such as for example the construction of the hood and covering, will be
completed once the functioning test is completed and satisfactory.
5.1 Examples of main functioning schemes
Two principle functioning schemes are shown below for illustrative purposes. They are not complete installation schemes so all the
elements necessary are not shown. There are a number of equally valid configurations combining a H range thermo fireplace in a
hydraulic circuit.
