2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions in his paragraphs are specifically intended for qualified technicians and installers. Under no circumstances shall
TJ Chimeneas y Biomasa be responsible for the final installation of the device. The correct installation of the device shall
always be the responsibility of the installer, as shall adherence to the regulation in force in each region.
2.1 Requirements prior to installation
For the very principle of the functioning of the device, which works via com-
bustion of wood, it is necessary to ensure a supply of oxygen (present in the
atmospheric air). The H range of thermo fireplaces are watertight devices
that take air from the adjacent room or directly from the exterior, thus not
impacting on the quality of the air in the area to be heated.
We recommend that you install the device in a location favourable to the
distribution of hot air, with no obstacles that hinder the flow or intake of
air for the device itself. Similarly, it is possible to take advantage of an existing
fireplace in good condition to install a device provided it is built with non-com-
bustible materials.
In any case, it is necessary that the base upon which the device is to be set
has sufficient bearing capacity for the weight. The device must be perfectly
level when installed, on both the horizontal and the vertical plane. The device
includes adjustable legs that allow it to be levelled perfectly.
The surface temperature of the inaccessible parts of the walls must not ex-
ceed 65°C, and this limit falls to 50°C for accessible parts. It is necessary to
cover the device with some insulation such as special rockwool for high temperatures or ceramic fibre to prevent the water
from losing heat.
We recommend that you leave a safe distance between the devices and the combustible materials of at least 100 mm at the
sides and back and 150 mm at the front. The covering must also be made from material that can withstand high temperatures
without undermining its physical and aesthetic provisions. Avoid, therefore, any form of wallpaper, carpeting, plastic or certain types
of compacted quartz.
It is also necessary to have two grilles on the enclosure to allow decompression of the chamber and circulation of air through
same.
