Figure 5 Compress the tube
Distill the samples
1. When the instrument
temperature is at the
temperature setting, put
on heat-resistant gloves
and safety glasses.
2. Push each tube
assembly into a hole in
the heater block. Push
until the stop ring on the
sample tube hits the
heater block. Refer to
Figure 2 on page 6.
3. Take off the gloves.
Set and start the timer.
Refer to Method
information
on page 16 for the
distillation time.
4. When the time has
expired, put on the
heat-resistant gloves.
