4.1 Separate plaster model / plastic model
Both plaster and plastic models must be given a layer of separating medium before Orthocryl
When working with plaster models, we recommend using a special separating medium (REF 162-800-00) in order
to attain a smooth, silky basal surface on the appliance and to avoid discolorations and plaster inclusions. It is not
necessary to soak the model beforehand.
Plastic models must be given a layer of separating medium before Orthocryl
plastics from sticking. We recommend the 3D separating medium (REF 162-801-00). This is, however, not available
in the USA.
