ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK
1.
Drive the machine on a level ground.
2.
Engage the parking brake with the pedal (84) and the lever (76).
3.
Turn the ignition key (69) to "0".
4.
Remove the screws (48), then disengage the fasteners (49) to remove the left side bulkhead (47).
5.
Check the oil level as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.
To top up, perform the following procedures:
Open the hood (23) and secure it with the support rod (55).
Remove the screws (45), then disengage the fasteners (46) to remove the engine guard (44).
6.
Assemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
CAUTION!
It is advisable to change the oil when the engine is still hot, to make the oil downfl ow easier.
1.
Drive the machine on a level ground.
2.
Engage the parking brake with the pedal (84) and the lever (76).
3.
Turn the ignition key (69) to "0".
4.
Remove the screws (48), then disengage the fasteners (49) to remove the left side bulkhead (47).
5.
Open the hood (23) and secure it with the support rod (55).
6.
Remove the screws (45), then disengage the fasteners (46) to remove the engine guard (44).
7.
Change the engine oil as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.
8.
To drain the engine oil, perform the following procedures:
Disconnect the engine oil drain hose (40) from the fastener (50) and lower it to drain the engine oil into an appropriate
container.
Loosen the clamp (39), remove the engine oil drain plug (38) and let the engine oil drain into the container.
CAUTION!
The discharged engine oil must be disposed of properly according to the Law in force.
9.
Assemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
FUEL FILTER CLEANING
1.
Drive the machine on a level ground.
2.
Engage the parking brake with the pedal (84) and the lever (76).
3.
Turn the ignition key (69) to "0".
4.
Remove the screws (48), then disengage the fasteners (49) to remove the left side bulkhead (47).
5.
Replace the fuel fi lter (51) as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.
6.
Assemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
