Configuration
The reduced charging current, which is applied
when the switching contact at the downgrade input
is energised, can be set via DIP switches 4 and 5
on bank S2. The charging current is reduced on a
percentage basis depending on the set maximum
charging current.

6.2.2 Blackout protection
The tasks described in this section may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
To prevent an overload at the building connection
with a charging point (blackout protection), it is ne-
cessary to record the current values f rom the build-
ing connection with an additional external energy
meter. The energy meter also takes account of
other consumers in the building. Blackout protec-
tion is not possible in the case of building connec-
tions with more than 63 A.
