install it on a concrete slab or concrete footings of 25x25 cm. We ask you to properly anchor
the pergola/carport to the ground.
If you wish to position your carport near your house or a building, please check for the
presence of gutters for water drainage.
The Ombréa pergola/carport will not support and guarantee perfect waterproofness if
rainwater from your house flows onto it.
If the assembly recommendations are not followed, the warranty cannot be applied.
3. MAINTENANCE OF THE PERGOLA
Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure its longevity and aesthetic appearance. We
recommend:
• Wash your pergola/carport 1 to 2 times a year with fresh water using a sponge or
cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasive material.
• Check the tightness of the screws regularly (at least once a year).
• Oil the hardware parts regularly (at least once a year).
• Ensure that nothing obstructs the water flow in the gutters (leaves, branches...)
• Remove any water that may stagnate around the feet of the pergola (lift the
protections)
4. WARRANTY
Ombréa guarantees the availability of spare parts for 2 or 5 years (depending on the
product). It only applies if storage, assembly, use, and maintenance instructions are
followed.
The warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear inherent to the products
• Loss or breakage of any part during unpacking or installation
• Lack of reasonable care, negligence, vandalism, impacts with foreign objects, use of
force, contact with abrasives, aesthetics, dismantling, reconstruction, or relocation.
• Acts of God: hail, strong winds, storms, snow, floods, lightning...
• Products modified by the user
• The warranty only includes the replacement of the spare part or the supplied product,
excluding any costs and compensations of any kind.
Any warranty claim must be made at the point of sale (store or website) where you
purchased your product.
