Important technical details

• Using the unit in the immediate vicinity of mobile phones, mi-
crowave appliances or other devices with strong electromagnetic
fields may result in impaired functioning. Maintain a minimum
distance of 3 m from such devices when using this unit.
• Never open the device or tamper with it. This is a medical device
and may only be opened by authorised specialists. The guarantee
will become void if the device is opened.
• The device may only be operated with genuine spare parts and
accessories. The guarantee shall expire in the event of damage
caused by third-party accessories!
• The device contains sensitive parts and must be protected from
severe fluctuations in temperature, as well as from humidity, dust
and direct sunlight.
• Do not expose the device to extreme heat (bright sunlight, heat,
hot water, etc.).
• The device is not shock-proof or impact-resistant. After serious falls
or impacts, we advise that the device be checked over to ensure
that the display indicator is intact and accurate.
• Comply with the specified operating conditions for measurement.

2 plus safely and efficiently and must be kept with the product
and if necessary passed on.
• The unit must be used in accordance with the procedures contained
in these instructions and must not be used for other purposes.
• All serious incidents which occur in connection with the device
must be reported to the manufacturer and to the responsible au-
thorities in the member state where the user is domiciled.
