Replacing the rechargeable
battery (see Fig. B + C)
The rechargeable battery should be replaced
every 12 months to ensure optimum perfor-
mance.
1. Take out the solar panel compartment
Switch the ON/OFF button
position to switch off the product. Loosen
the fastening screws
cross head screwdriver and then lever out
the battery compartment cover
the help of a slot screwdriver.
2. Exchange the old rechargeable battery
to a new one. Take care to the correct
polarity, when inserting the new recharge-
able battery. The polarity is indicated in
the battery compartment
rechargeable battery has to have the
same technical data like the old one
(see "Technical data").
3. Now again fasten the battery compartment

, fasten the fastening screws

by using a small cross head screwdriver.
Switch the ON/OFF button
position to enable the product switching
on during darkness.
Note: Pay attention to the seal ring. Degree
of protection IP44 can only be guaranteed if
the sealing ring
is properly seated.

The charging time of the rechargeable battery
when the solar panel is used depends on the
intensity of the sunlight and the angle of inci-
dence of the light on the solar panel
Place the solar panel
as possible to the angle of incidence of the
light. In this way you will receive the highest
light levels.
Maintenance and care
The LED
cannot be replaced. The product

is maintenance-free, except for any necessary
change of rechargeable battery.
Clean the product regularly with a dry,
lint-free cloth or brush. Use a slightly
dampened cloth or brush to remove
more stubborn dirt.
Troubleshooting
Note: This product has delicate electronic
components. This means that if it is placed
near an object that transmits radio signals,
it could cause interference. If you notice that
the product is malfunctioning, remove any
sources of interference from the area of the
product.
Note: Electrostatic discharges may cause
product to malfunction. In the event of such
malfunctions, remove the rechargeable battery
briefly and reinsert them.
