USEFUL ADVICE FOR USE
To ensure correct use of the appliance, the follow-
ing rules should be adopted.
– Use only the accessories recommended by the
constructor.
– Do not use the plate for cooking food directly
without a pan.
– Only use the appliance to heat pans.
– Always use gloves when handling cookware to
avoid the risk of burning.
– Never place pans too close together and do not
allow them to touch.
– To save energy, use thick-base, flat pans with a
base slightly larger than the cooking zone.
– The ideal thickness for the pan bottom is 2÷3 mm
for enamelled steel, and 4÷6 mm for stainless
steel with sandwich bottoms..
– The bottom of the pan should be slightly concave
when cold so that it maximises contact with the
cooking surface when it is hot.
– Never place anything between the pan bottom
and the cooking zone.
– Never place anything in the cooking zone, and
especially not metal items (cutlery, watches, etc)
or items which may be demagnetised (credit
cards, bank cards, etc.).

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SERVICING
Keep the appliance at peak efficiency by carrying
out the scheduled servicing procedures recom-
mended by the constructor. Proper servicing will al-
low the best performance, a longer working life and
constant maintenance of safety requirements.
Caution - warning
Before carrying out any servicing procedure,
activate all the safety devices provided and
decide whether staff at work and those in the
vicinity should be informed. In particular, turn
off the electricity supply using the circuit-
breaker and prevent access to all devices
which might people's health and safety at risk
if activated.

– Always keep the appliance and the surrounding
areas clean.
– Remove fat residues immediately with a damp
cloth to avoid corrosion on the plates.
– Before cooking foods with high sugar content
(such as jam) a protective product must be ap-
plied to the cooking surface to prevent damage if
the pan boils over.
– When cleaning, use only food-approved deter-
gents.
– In case of a breakage of the ceramic hob, switch
the appliance off, disconnect the electricity sup-
ply and contact the after-sales service.
– Do not allow steam or damp air to enter the intake
ducts and take care not to obstruct them.
– Do not leave powdered foods (flour, sugar, salt,
etc.) or materials inside the compartment.
– Cookware which is not really suitable may
be inefficient and lead to reductions in pow-
er that may even cause the appliance to cut
out due to overheating. The Manufacturer
recommends the use of SPRING, DE-
MEYERE brand cookware.
SERVICING
At the end of each session of use and whenever
necessary, clean:
– The hob (see page 11)
– The appliance and the surrounding environment
(see page 10)
Every 100 working hours have skilled, authorised
personnel carry out the following operations.
– check that the electrical system is in good work-
ing order
Every year, have skilled, authorised personnel car-
ry out the following operations:
– check that the induction module is working cor-
rectly.
