All electrical adjustments should be made under the following condi-
tions: »
— Mains voltage: 220-240V +10%, 50 Hz +£5%.
— The TV must have been ON for approx. 10 minutes.
The voltages and oscillograms have been measured with regard to
tuner ground.
— Measuring probe: Ri >10Mohms, Ci <2.5pF
— For operation of the TV, see brief operation guide page 1-5.

After replacing the Main panel including all modules and the video
outputmodule, only the following adjustments must be made/checked:
Vg2
Horizontal centring
Picture width
Vertical centring
Picture height
East/West correction
White balance
Cut-off

Connect a DC voltmeter to coil 5631.
— Adjust potentiometer 3635 until a supply voltage of +148V 0.5V.
— Set the brilliance and colour saturation to their nominal values (32).
— Set the contrast to the maximum value.
~ Adjust to optimum focusing as viewed approx. 10 cm. from the edge
of the screen by means of the focus potentiometer on the top of the
line output transformer.
— Set the brilliance and contrast to minimum.
— Connect an oscilloscope to TP51, TP52 and TP53 on module 09,
Video output (fig. 2).
— Read out the levels of the cut-off pulse during the vertical blanking
period, measured in the three test points, and connect the oscillos-
cope to the test point with the highest level.
— If module 09, Video output, is marked with no, 8211 015 0429 5 in
the copper foil, adjust the G2 potentiometer on the line output trans-

former, until the level of the cut-off pulse is 155V DC (absolute
maximum level, fig.1).
If module 09 is marked with no. 8211 015 0429 4 in the copper foil,
adjust the G2 potentiometer until the level of the cut-off pulse is
170V DC (absolute maximum level, fig.1).

— Do not connect any signal to the TV.
~ Set the brilliance and contrast to their nominal values (32).
— Press [VTAPE].
~ Adjust the G2 potentiometer on the line output transformer, until
there are just visible fly-back lines on the TV screen. Then turn the
G2 potentiometer backwards, until the TV screen just turns totally
dark.
