► For maximum battery life, store the battery at
an ambient temperature between 50 °F and
68 °F (10 °C and 20 °C) with a charge
between 40 % and 60 % (2 green LEDs).
► Do not leave spare batteries unused. Use
them in rotation.
NOTICE
■ A battery that is not stored properly may expe‐
rience deep discharge, which can result in per‐
manent damage. To avoid deep discharge:
► Remove the battery from the blower after
finishing work.
► For maximum battery life, store the battery

► If storing the battery in the charger, discon‐
nect the charger from the outlet.

Charger
To properly store the charger:
► Disconnect the charger from the electrical out‐
let.

► Wrap the power supply cord and attach it to
the charger.
► Store the charger indoors in a dry and secure
location.
► Keep it out of the reach of children and other
unauthorized persons.
► Never hang the charger by its power supply
cord or cord bracket (3).

21 Cleaning
21.1
Blower, Battery and Charger
WARNING
■ To reduce the risk of personal injury from unin‐
tended activation, remove the battery before
carrying out any cleaning work,
this blower should carry out only the cleaning
described in this manual.
To clean the blower, battery and charger:
► Clean a dirty intake screen carefully with a soft
brush whenever required.
► Clean the blower's polymer components with a
slightly dampened cloth. Do not use deter‐
gents or solvents. They may damage the poly‐
mer components.
► Do not use a pressure washer to clean the
blower or otherwise spray it with water or other
liquids.
► Keep the battery housing, guides and electri‐
cal contacts free from foreign matter and clean
as necessary with a soft brush or soft, dry
cloth.
► Keep the charger housing and electrical con‐
tacts free from foreign matter. Clean as neces‐
sary with a soft brush or soft, dry cloth. Always
unplug the charger before cleaning.
