ABYLEOS Home+
ABYLEOS HOME+ is the innovative water heater that interfaces with the domestic meter, through
the installation of the Home Energy Meter.
The ABYLEOS HOME+ water heater is therefore able to measure the home's energy flows, ensuring
independence and energy saving.
The HOME+ functions can be activated/deactivated simply by pressing the "
water heater, or through the Ariston Net app within the dedicated sections.
With the exception of the "Hourly usage tariff management" function, which can be activated/
deactivated only through the Ariston NET app. The HOME+ functions can be activated in
combination with all the water heater's operating modes.
When the HOME+ functions are activated, the water heater can work up to a maximum power of
3000 W. If the HOME+ functions are not activated, the water heater will work at a default power of
2300 W for the VERT model and 2500 W for the STAB model.

SMART SELF-CONSUMPTION
The ABYLEOS HOME+ water heater regulates its own consumption and allows for concentrating
the water heating phase when the electricity produced by the solar panels exceeds the needs of
the home's other electrical loads, thus reducing the amount of electricity entering the network.
When energy generated through the photovoltaic system enters the network, the water heater
autonomously activates water heating to store the excess energy, by regulating its consumption
thanks to its different power levels. In this way, besides producing hot water and guaranteeing
the desired comfort level, the water heater also functions as a thermal energy storage tank and
is practically a replacement for electrochemical batteries.
If the "Smart self-consumption" function is active, the maximum pre-defined temperature (80°C)
can be modified on the basis of the user's preferences, in the dedicated section within the
Ariston NET app. Self-consumption is also ensured when the water heater is installed in systems
equipped with electrochemical batteries. In such cases, part of its need could be supported by
the battery itself.
The function described above is only available once the Home Energy Meter is installed and
paired (refer to the paragraph "PAIRING THE HOME ENERGY METER").
• PEAK LOAD MANAGEMENT
Thanks to its different power levels, the ABYLEOS HOME+ water heater can adapt its consumption
on the basis of the domestic network's load, in order to prevent bothersome power interruptions,
maximise performances and reduce the energy bills when the energy costs are linked to the
maximum allowed power.
If the meter risks tripping, the water heater signals this risk through a push notification on the
Ariston NET app. In this way, the user can timely intervene by disconnecting the electrical
appliances and thus prevent unpleasant blackouts.
Through the Ariston NET app, within the section "PEAK LOAD MANAGEMENT", the user can
specify the contractual power level.
The function described above is only available once the Home Energy Meter is installed and
paired (refer to the paragraph "PAIRING THE HOME ENERGY METER").
• HOURLY USAGE TARIFF MANAGEMENT
In the dedicated section of the Ariston NET app, users can enter up to two time slots corresponding
to the most advantageous daily electricity tariffs. The water heater exploits these time slots strate-
gically to favour savings on the energy bills, while ensuring the necessary comfort level. Should the
user select a single economy time slot for the entire day, the water heater will maintain the temper-
ature according to the selected mode, as illustrated in detail further below.
This function does not require the installation of the Home Energy Meter.
