Adjusting the chisel position
1. Set the function selection switch (6) to

symbol.
2. Turn the attachment tool in the SDS-
Plus (1) tool holder to the required pos-
ition.
3. Use the function selection switch (6) to
select the
symbol for the chisel oper-
ation.
Pre-selecting the rotation
speed
The speed button (17) lets you to choose
between two speed levels.

Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (15) along the guide
into the battery holder (11).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release (12)
on the battery (15).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery hold-
er (11).
Switching on and off
WARNING! Risk of injury due to un-
intentional continuous operation of the
tool. Before inserting the batteries into
the unit, check that the on/off switch (7)
works properly and returns to the off posi-
tion when released.
Switching on
1. Insert the rechargeable battery (15) in-
to the tool.
2. Select the direction of rotation with the
rotation direction switch (8).
3. Press and hold the On/off switch (7).
The LED work light (18) lights up.
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(7).
2. Wait until the power tool has stopped
before placing it down.
3. When taking a break: Set the direc-
tion of rotation switch (8) to the centre.
These safety measures prevent acci-
dentally starting the power tool.
4. Remove the rechargeable battery (15)
from the device if you are leaving the
device unattended or if you have fin-
ished working.
