Wired LAN connection
LAN cable
(not supplied)
1 Disconnect the AC power supply
cord.
2 Connect this unit to a broadband
router, etc. using a LAN cable.
3 Connect the AC power supply cord to
this unit. ( 15)
4 Press [ ] to turn this unit on.
• If the network connection is not established,
the LED indicator (NET) on the top of
this unit blinks when the input source is
switched to "NET". Reset the settings from
the step 1.
5 Open the "Technics Audio Center"
app and follow the on-screen
instructions to set up a connection.
Note
• While the AC power supply cord is
disconnected, the LAN cable must be
connected or disconnected.
• Use category 7 or above straight LAN cables
(STP) when connecting to peripheral devices.
• Inserting any cable other than a LAN cable in
the LAN port can damage the unit.
• When a LAN cable is connected, the Wi-Fi
function may be disabled. (The LED indicator
does not blink.)

Preparation
Disconnect the AC power supply cord.
Disconnect the LAN cable.
Connect the AC power supply cord to this
unit. ( 15)
Broadband router, etc.
Note
• The setting will be cancelled after the set time
limit. In that case, try the setting again.
• To cancel this setting in the middle, switch the
input source by pressing touch switch on the
top of this unit.
• When the network connection is established,
all the LED indicators on the top and power
indicator on the front of the primary speaker
light up for 2 seconds.
Wireless setup for the first time
using app
1 Press [ ] to turn this unit on.
• The LED indicator (NET) on the top and
power indicator on the front of this unit
blink every second simultaneously.
2 Open the "Technics Audio Center"
app.
3 Select "Click here for
wireless setup for
your new main unit".
4 Select this unit and
follow the on-screen
instructions to set
the network.
Note
• This unit will be displayed as "Technics-SC-
****
CX700- " if the device name is not set.
(" **** " stands for characters unique to each
set.)
• You can check your network information
(SSID, MAC address and IP address) from the
"Technics Audio Center" app.
