• Do not place the device near heat sources, in sunlight or in an excessively hot environment.
• The time required to switch from storage to operating conditions is about 2 hours.

WARNINGS FOR USE WITH BATTERY
• Although the battery pack is equipped with safety systems, if it is removed from the device it
should be stored carefully away from metal objects in general (e.g. bundles of keys) which could
cause it to short-circuit. NEVER tamper with the battery pack contacts using, for example, hairpins,
scissors or pliers.
• Recharge the unit only at BATTERY LOW, a condition signalled when the LED on the unit changes
from green to red. At this point SWITCH THE UNIT OFF and DO NOT attempt to restart the unit
by continuing to press the switch, the battery may be damaged. Then proceed to recharge the
battery.
• For charging use only the supplied power supply unit (A8) or the cable with cigarette lighter plug
(A9) supplied with your Wi.Neb by connecting it to a 12V DC socket in your car or motor home.
• Do not charge the battery outdoors, as the device is not protected against the penetration of
liquids in the event of rain or splashes. Do not get the battery wet and do not immerse it in water,
and if you do, do not insert it in the device and contact the authorised service centre or your
dealer.
• Do not charge the battery when the ambient temperature is below 4° C and above 35° C.
• Do not expose the battery to high temperatures, such as heaters, stoves, fireplaces, hobs, conven-
tional ovens and microwave ovens, etc., and do not throw it into a fire.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight and do not keep it in a car, especially in hot weather.
• If the battery is subjected to violent shocks, it could become a source of danger; if this happens, we
recommend that you have it checked at an authorised service centre or at your dealer.
• If you do not plan to use the device for a long period of time, perform a full charge cycle and then
remove the battery from its housing. Remember to recharge every 3 months of non-use in order
not to reduce battery efficiency.
• At least 2 hours before re-use or recharging the batteries, let the unit reach the operating tempera-
ture specified in the Technical Specifications section.
• Do not attempt to open the battery casing for any reason.
• The battery life at maximum efficiency is about 300 charging cycles, after which it tends to gradu-
ally decrease and it is recommended to replace the battery. With this in mind, it is recommended
to make the most of each recharge to optimise the life cycle of the battery. Autonomy with new
battery when fully charged: approx. 45 minutes (at a temperature of approx. 25°C) Minimum
charge time: approx. 2 hours
