5. Accessories
5.1. Legrest horizontally adjustable
A horizontally adjustable legrest is available for the BX 11S wheelchair.
5.2. Amputation support adjustable
An adjustable amputation leg support can also be attached to the
BX 11S wheelchair.
5.3. Tipping aid
A tipping aid is available to make it easier to tip the wheelchair.
5.4. Anti-tip rollers
To prevent the wheelchair from tipping over backwards, it is also
possible to equip the wheelchair with anti-tip castors.
5.5. Angle-adjustable back with ad-
justable sliding tubes
On request, the wheelchair can also be supplied with an angle-
adjustable back. In this case, the push handles can be adjusted to the
individual height of the accompanying person, independently of other
adjustments.
5.6. Tyre casing
In addition to the different sizes of the wheels, it is also possible to
choose a different variant for the casing of the drive wheel.
5.7. Spoke protector
To prevent fingers from getting caught in the spokes, your wheelchair
can also be equipped with a spoke guard.
5.8. Drum brake
For the equipment with a 24" drive wheel, there is the option to equip
with a drum brake.

5.9. Brake lever extension
It is also possible to equip your wheelchair with a brake lever extension.
The extended lever reduces the amount of force required and is
therefore particularly recommended for people with
reduced arm and hand strength.
5.10. Plug-in side panels with
height adjustment
Plug-in side panels with height-adjustable armrests (PU foam) are also
available as accessories.
5.11. Lap belt
A Lap belt can be supplied on request.
5.12. Cane holder
To be able to carry a walking stick on the wheelchair, a cane holder is
available as an accessory.
6. Use
6.1. Entering and exiting from the
side
•
Bring the wheelchair and the current or future seat as close to-
gether as possible.
•
Secure the wheelchair with the parking brake (see chapter 4.7).
•
If necessary, swing the armrest backwards or remove the side part
(see chapter 4.3).
•
Fold both foot plates upwards, swing them to the side and remove
them or fold the single foot plate upwards (see chapter 4.2).
•
Slide sideways onto the other seat. Sit as far back as possible.
•
Move the leg supports back to the starting position.
•
If necessary, lock the side parts again.
