8. Getting started
8.1 Switching the fan on and off
Proceed as follows to getting started using the fan:
•
Select a location according to the safety instructions.
•
Operate the fan on a flat, stable surface.
•
Insert the mains plug into a properly installed mains socket.
•
To switch the device on, turn the rotary
switch (2) to ON.
•
To switch the device off, turn the rotary
switch (2) to OFF.
8.2 Adjusting the fan speed
•
Low fan speed: Press button 1 (6) until it locks.
•
Medium fan speed: Press button 2 (5) until it locks.
•
High fan speed: Press button 3 (4) until it locks.
•
To stop the air circulation, press the OFF button (7).
8.3 Setting the TIMER
You can use the TIMER to program a runtime between 0 and 120 minutes.
•
To switch the TIMER on, turn the rotary switch
(2) to a position between 0 and 120 minutes.
The device switches on.
•
Please note that an exact setting to the
minutes it is not possible.
•
To switch the TIMER off, turn the rotary switch
(2) to OFF.
