Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!

Potential cause/solution

Is the mains plug properly connected with the socket? Cor-
rect the position of the mains plug.

Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
•
Check the fuse of the mains connection.

Is the dust bin (1) too full?
•
Are the fi lters or the cyclonic insert (H) heavily laden with
dirt? Clean as described in the chapter "Cleaning and storing
the device".

Are the attachments plugged?
•
Has the dust bin (1) been closed or inserted improperly?
•
Is the dust bin (1) too full?
•
Has the dust bin (1) been closed or inserted improperly?
•
Have the fi lters or the cyclonic insert (H) been improperly
inserted? Correct the position as described in the chapter
"Cleaning and storing the device".

Are the fi lters or the cyclonic insert (H) heavily laden with
dirt? Clean as described in the chapter "Cleaning and storing
the device".
•
Are the fi lters worn or damaged? Order new fi lters via
www.service-shopping.de and replace them.
•
Are you using the device for the fi rst time? An odour often
develops when using new devices for the fi rst time. The
odour should disappear once you have used the device a
few times.
