Important safety information for the batteries
WARNING!
Keep batteries out of reach of small children. If a battery is swallowed, you must seek medical attention immediately. Batteries/rechargeable
batteries must always be inserted in the correct polarity. If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts. Never attempt to recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. Never short-circuit or attempt to open batteries. Never throw batteries into fire as they may explode.
If the device will not be used for an extended time period, remove the battery and store the device in a dry and dust-free area. Improper use of
the battery can lead to explosion or leakage.
If the battery leaks, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Use gloves. If you are exposed to battery acid, rinse the affected
areas with plenty of clean water and immediately seek medical attention. Remove discharged batteries from the device as they present an
increased risk of leakage.
Using the mount, the stand or the suction cups
You can hang your bathroom clock on a wall using the pull-out mount 1 or
place it on a flat surface using the fold out stand 2. The bathroom clock can
also be attached to a smooth, dry and flat surface (for example: mirror, glass,
glazed tiles). Porous, matte or uneven surfaces are not suitable (for example:
Tiles with a relief pattern or terracotta). To achieve a stronger connection, wet
the suctions cups before attaching the bathroom clock and clean the surface on
which you intend to attach the clock.
To remove the bathroom clock, be sure to release all the suction cups first (for
example, by inserting a fingernail under the rim of each suction cup).
Securely hanging the bathroom clock or placing it
on a surface
Hang the bathroom clock from a nail or screw on a flat wall or use the suction
cups or the fold out stand. Please ensure that:
no direct heat sources (for example: heaters) affect the clock;
the clock does not come into contact with direct sunlight;
contact with water spray and water drops are avoided;
the bathroom clock is not near magnetic fields (for example: speakers);
no foreign objects enter the clock;
candles or other open flames are always kept away from the bathroom
clock to prevent the spread of fire.
