Rechargable batteries:
As you require, you can either use
normal (alkaline) or rechargable
batteries in both the indoor and
outdoor units.
However, please be aware that the
total voltage of rechargable batteries
are lower and may affect proper
operation when they are nearly
empty.
Rechargable batteries must be
charged with an external charger.
Batteries outdoor unit:
Because regular Alkaline batteries
perform poorly or not at all at
temperatures around or below 0°C,
we don't recommend using standard
Alkaline batteries for the outdoor unit.
This is why we recommend inserting
Lithium batteries into the outdoor
unit, because these are developed
for functioning within a temperature
range of -20°C to 60°C.
These batteries can be ordered from
the customer service department of
Commaxx: service@commaxxgroup.
com. Lithium batteries with a capacity
of 2900mAh have a life span of at
least
one year.
Placement:
•
Do not put the indoor unit in
direct sunlight and keep it
removed from heat-emission
such as lamps or heaters.
•
For a good reception of the radio-
signals, do not put the indoor-unit
next to big metallic surfaces or
heavy machinary.
•
The outdoor unit may be made
for outdoor use, but it is not
waterproof. Place the unit away
from potential rainfall.
•
The distance between the indoor
and outdoor unit may not be
more than 50 meters
•
The indoor unit can be wall-
mounted by using the gap at the
backside to put it on a screw-
head sticking some mm out of
the wall.
•
If you want to put the indoorunit
on a table or similar flat surface,
pull out the table-stand (see
image G).
